Harvesting Equipment
Hay is harvested from a family dairy farm operated from 1930s until 1976.
Fields were used to graze dairy cattle, grow corn and some other crops.

After 1976, a local farmer used the fields for producing hay ensuring that
they were cut annually.   I returned to the family farm in 2008 after being
gone for 40 years, reclaimed all land and continued harvesting hay.  Fields
are essentially organic as no chemicals or manure have been applied since
1976.  Fields have been treated with lime.

About 13 acres are harvested.  Soil is deep and rich, and produces 2-3
quality cuttings per year.
